Gone Postal

After disassembling Phantom 1, a member of Smak Factor bought a new tank for the team.  Formerly a United States Postal Service truck, it is temporarily named "Gone Postal" until we decide on a more permanent name.  This vehicle was recovered from a junkyard and after much TLC it is able to run.
We have painted it black and removed both the windshield and the back side windows.  The windshield was replaced with paintball netting and the back side windows had plywood put in the frame area to make gunports.  The large sliding door in the back makes it easy to drop large numbers of troops on unsuspecting bases in a very short period of time.
The tank made it's official in-play debute at the Fire Fall Objective III on September 17, 2005 at Smak Zone Paintball.

Phantom 1

Smak Factor now has a tank on the team.  Codenamed Phantom 1, the tank is basically a shell made to go over a 4-wheeler.  The crew consists of one driver and one gunner.  The tank has a stationary turret in which the gunner has netted windows to look out of on all sides for a wide field of view.  Each side of the turret has a slot to stick a paintball marker's barrel out of.  On the sides of the tank are areas to shoot RPGs from.  Small, but well armed, this tank will make its debute at the Fire Fall Objective II held at Smak Zone Paintball in Patterson,Mo.

Weston Page- Tank Driver     Justin Stotts- Tank Gunner

Update- The tank has been taken apart because it was not worth the trouble of putting it on the 4-wheeler anymore.  When we tried to put it on before Christmas Clash, someone was almost hurt.  Safety First!
